The Los Angeles Chargers have plummeted to 32nd in the latest NFL Week 8 power rankings, despite not playing a snap during their bye week. Miami’s first win of the season pushed the Chargers to the bottom, highlighting just how tough their 0-6 start and 309-day losing streak have been for fans. With a struggling offense ranking 30th in total offense and dead last in EPA per play, the question lingers—can the Chargers finally turn things around against the Rams? Meanwhile, the New York Giants have poached another young talent, signing rookie running back Greg Desrosiers off the Chargers’ practice squad. After losing Nikko Reed earlier in the season, Los Angeles now finds itself short on developmental depth. Can the Chargers bounce back from these setbacks and find a way to keep emerging players? The spotlight remains on their roster moves and the uphill battle to reclaim respect in the NFL standings.
