Mike McDaniel’s praise for Jake Slaughter offers reassurance to Chargers fans anxious about Tyler Biadasz’s season-ending ACL injury. With McDaniel calling Slaughter’s play “consistent and impressive” and lauding his toughness and growth, the second-round pick from Florida is positioned to take over the center job with confidence. Slaughter now has weeks of first-team practice under his belt, making the transition on the offensive line appear seamless. Elsewhere on the Chargers roster, recent practice squad moves shake up depth and potential contributions. Former first-round cornerback Kaiir Elam, defensive lineman Jordan Jefferson, and wide receiver Theo Wease join the squad, aiming for a shot at the 53-man roster. Will these new additions spark competition and elevate the team’s performance?
